Camp
HOPE
July 21 - 26

Camp HOPE America is the first camping and mentoring initiative in the United States to focus on children exposed to domestic violence.  It is a values-based, "Challenge by Choice" program with a focus on praising children for observing and developing character traits through the course of a five-day program.

Sunrise has provided the Camp HOPE program to our community for the past four years.

Camp HOPE is a free, local, trauma-informed camp.  Some of the daily activities include archery, horseback riding, art projects, swimming, and more.

On average, it costs Sunrise $850 to send a child to camp each year.
This does not include the cost of transportation, staff, and supplies.

In addition to summer camp, we provide year-round hope-centered programming and mentorship through Pathway Events.

Our central goal is that through Pathway Events, we can change the future of children lives who may be subjected to perpetuated violence, incarceration, substance abuse, and other dysfunctions.

The average cost of a Pathway Event is $450.

Help us create pathways to HOPE for children who need it most.
