Get involved.

Volunteers support us in our mission to be catalysts for change. Sunrise programs offer both individual and group volunteer opportunities—some on a regularly scheduled basis, as well as special projects when the need arises. Clubs or community groups can schedule a “Day of Caring” to help with projects such as pressure washing, trimming, weeding, cleaning, or sorting, for example.

Office volunteers assist in clerical support, or staffing community events. They will help with filing, copying, shredding, or data entry type tasks. Direct service volunteers can be found working with survivors in our shelter, court, and advocacy programs, and assisting in sessions of our children’s outreach program. Sunrise has agreements in place with various local colleges to offer internships in the areas of marketing, social work, and psychology.

Direct service interns and volunteers are required to complete the same training as all Sunrise employees. The training consists of 60 hours of training which will prepare them in their work with survivors or their families.

If you would like to get involved please download the appropriate application below, fill out and email your application to volunteer@sunrisepasco.org, or call us at 352-521-3358.
